The Pickle Shop is located on the eastern end of the main street in Stoffton. The shop is operated by Helmut Schafer. Helmut's wife Greta grew up in the building and inherited it from her parents.
Most days, you will find Helmut working in the pickle shop while he watches their youngest child Olive. Greta is works part time at the grocery store. Four of the Schafer's five children live with them in the residential area of the shop: Ebbe (marriage candidate), Matius, Garth, and Olive. Their oldest daughter Brina (marriage candidate) lives in the apartments in town.
