In the northwestern section of Rocky Ford is the Vogel Place. The Vogel family once had a thriving farm, but several years ago, they left the area and sold their home and outbuildings to the Schafer family. The farmhouse has been boarded shut for many years, but Mac Schafer has been using the nearby coop to raise chickens. If you use the default settings and Mac is not a marriage candidate, you can help him renovate the Vogel house as part of his story.

If you encourage Mac to pursue his dreams of living near his family and raising chickens, you can help him renovate the Vogel farmhouse. After he renovates the home, you can encourage him to think about his long-time friend Dahlia as a possible partner. After they marry, he will expand the house a second time to make room for his wife. (And, other events can make a third renovation occur (not shown).)
