Dahlia

Dahlia is a marriage candidate who lives in the Boarding House and works at the textile mill. Dahlia works very long hours at the textile mill. Dahlia is not originally from Stoffton, but she has lived here since shortly after she finished high school. Her parents died when she was young, and she grew up in a series of foster homes, so having her own space and working to earn her keep is important to her.

Dahlia is about the same age as Mac and has had a crush on him since she first met him about ten years ago, but they have never dated. Dahlia is especially good friends with Johanna who runs the Boarding House. In Dahlia's words, Johanna would be a great mother or foster mother. Dahlia always wanted to be a doctor, and she will talk about perhaps going back to school some day.

Dahlia is one of the marriage candidates who has an alternate story that you can choose to pursue. As you become better friends with Dahlia and with Mac, you can encourage them to try dating each other. Eventually, the two will marry in a ceremony in the temple of Yoba and then move to the renovated Vogel House in Rocky Ford. See Mac for more information on this story line.

If you choose instead to marry Dahlia, you cannot pursue the alternate story line. Also, if you edit the config.json file to make Mac a marriage candidate, he will not propose to Dahlia, so you will not be able to pursue the alternate story.

Schedule (in brief)

Most days, Dahlia works at the textile mill from around 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. On Sundays, she attends the temple of Yoba and then has lunch at the café before returning home.
